What is the code that is on the swatches and why isn't it present on the cubes?

The code is an internally developed code to match a particular swatch to a manufacturer, color, order date, and (when available) batch number associated with the spool that printed the swatch. The data associated with this code will be made available to visitors in the near future. The code isn't available on the cube due to confined space, however we have included a QR code on the cube which when scanned will take you to the product page for that sample.
I have seen references to "Batch Information", but I cannot find it anywhere?

This is a feature that is coming soon. It will provide members the ability to see past and present color information, including hex values, batch numbers of spools samples were taken from, as well as order and ship dates. This service aims to provide the best possible indication of if a color has recently changed - helping to instill confidence in yourself on that new order.
